Hope you have all had a lovely Christmas...hate to sound a bit humbug but does anyone know the protocol on donating to charities on behalf of other people? I have sponsored many times over the years with WWF and UNICEF and am allways asked if the recipient is aware of the sposorship on their behalf....is a donation different? For 2 years running my children and I have apparently donated to AAR, a charity which I support when I can with my business and have done since they started but have never been asked by either donator or charity if we wish our names to be put to this recent donation? It seems bad manners at the very least ...and perhaps I would have chosen a different charity alltogether....
