Hopefully asking for honest advice related to military service - TopicsExpress

Hopefully asking for honest advice related to military service isnt too much to ask, but here goes. Im trying for the second time to join the Navy. First time around, I suffered a knee injury not long after I visited MEPS in Ft. Gordon which pushed me past my ship out date. It pushed me past my DEP deadline and the recruiters were forced to cancel my contract. So here I am, trying again. My old information is still on file (that was only last year), but Im still trying to sort out the leg issue. It appears to just be a little calcium deposit on my femur (caused by the injury). It doesnt bother me too much (after hours of strenuous exercise, it hurts; but its nothing that I cant get past). Im trying to see if anyone thinks Ill have luck with my Chiropractors note, or if I should suck it up and try to come up with the $650 needed to see the Orthopedic Specialist (being uninsured hurts.) for the same note. Have any of you been in a similar situation? Thanks for reading.
