Hopefully this holds up: To whom it may concern, I, Troy Michael Osborne (D.O.B. **/**/1992), currently residing at, ____________, have not been enrolled to vote. It was my initial misinformed believe that if i didnt vote based on Article 18 of the Iccpr (Freedom of religion & believe) that would be sufficient to avoid penalties, however, whilst reading the ECQ website I came across the following: Because of my religious beliefs I do not vote. Will I still be fined? No, provided you write to us stating your reason for not voting. You must include your full name, date of birth, address, and signature I was previously oblivious to my responsibility to make contact and assumed that I could justify my non-voting at the time of scrutiny, thus Im making contact now regarding my desire to not vote: I , Troy Michael Osborne (D.O.B. **/**/1992), currently residing at, ________, do not wish to vote based on my personal interpretation of Exodus chapter 20, in particular, chapters 3 to 6: 3 “You shall have no other gods before me. 4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. In my personal beliefs, this scripture, of which I try to live my life by, prohibits the idolisation of entities other than the Lord, or any alternative interpretations of the Abrahamic God, inclusive of the Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost. I consider the law of compulsory voting a blatant forced adherence to statolatry, as defined in Giovanni Gentiles Doctrine of Fascism (1931) & Ludwig von Mises Omnipotent Government (1944),and believe I have religious protection to hold these views, based on the adoption of this neologism by Pope Pius XI, which he liked to pagan worship of the state. By the modern definition, and all etymological roots, any item of worship is an Idol, explicitly prohibited in verse 5. Thank you for your time, Troy Osborne.
