Horror movies. What is there to say about them? For me, horror films seem to elicit a negative emotional reaction from viewers by playing on their primal fears. Horror films feature scenes that frequently scare or startle the viewer. Slasher killer, ghost, monster, or even Death itself, theyre there in a film and scare you, but at the same time, you enjoy the film because of that. Rarely do I have any horror films that are part of my favorite films, but I have seen some and even want some. Here are the horror films that I either already have or currently want. Jaws (1975) Gremlins (1984) Ghostbusters (1984) Ghostbusters II (1989) Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) Scream (1996) Scream 2 (1997) Blade (1998) - Want it Hollow Man (2000) Scream 3 (2000) Thirteen Ghosts (2001) - Mom, youve seen that movie when I was packing the kitchen at the old house. Now Im interested in that movie. Ghost Ship (2002) Eight-Legged Freaks (2002) Blade II (2002) Darkness Falls (2003) - This film, I REALLY want to see. Monster House (2006) Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) Cloverfield (2008) Drag Me to Hell (2009) - Want it The Wolfman (2010) A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) - Just realized that the producer of this film is Michael Bay. Now Im interested. Scream 4 (2011) Final Destination 5 (2011) - Out of all the Final Destination films, the fifth one is the one Im sparking interest in. World War Z (2013) 24 horror films are on my movies collection. Hope theyre impressive enough to really put the Horror genre into my ever-growing favorite movies or movies I want to see.
