Horse-E, has been through it all with me. We picked him up at a horse farm when he was about 2 years old, back in 1996. He has this horrible meow - just like his mother had - that would send chills down your spine. He really got your attention. He was a sweetheart, and always wore a question mark over his head - what cha doing? what ya doing that for? what is this? do you really need it? He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. I will always remember him on Christmas Day. He was special, and dear to my heart. He was about 18 years old. I went downstairs to get another cup of coffee, and he was laying still on the couch, which I thought he was asleep. But my little black kitty, Tinker, kept paw-ing, as if to say, wake up. I told her that he is gone, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge - no more arthritis, no more insulin, that he is chasing butterflies. She is in mourning.
