House Budget Restores Teaching Fellows Budget Current Teaching Fellows and graduates, Teaching Fellows campuses and staffs, families and friends of the Teaching Fellows Program throughout North Carolina are exceedingly pleased that the members of the House of Representatives restored the Teaching Fellows Program in the House version of Senate Bill 402 Appropriations Act of 2013. The House Budget contains a provision that “reinstates the Teaching Fellows Program. Sufficient funding would remain to restore the program and begin recruiting a new class of Teaching Fellows in FY 2014-15.” The Teaching Fellows repeal language adopted in the 2011 session was repealed.
