House GOP release the following one-page document outlining “standards for immigration reform” I agree with all of this with the exception of the last two. Anchor babies are not responsible for their mothers crime but the mother should not profit from that crime to be allowed to stay in the US simply because we fear we will hurt the child, ( the tool she used just to gain citizenship), that is not Justice it only serves to give the criminal and her baby citizenship. Secondly, The last article nullifies the first articles. They allow all the legal Aliens who are in this country, to stay if they pay a fine, go to school to learn English, pay taxes, a fine and passed background checks. However they are here with paperwork that is forged, not in their own name. We have no idea who they really are. So how can we make sure that they are in compliance to obtain citizenship. It is foolishness to believe that this will work. A person comes here with no ID, they obtain forged, illegal IDs off the streets, they have you so many names they dont even know their own name after using so many forged IDs, so how is the US government going to know who they are, fingerprints wont work unless theyve committed a crime here, this can not work. This is just another ploy of the US government, to make a flowery statements, showing that they know the problem as the first part of these statements prove but attempting to circumvent the problem by the last two articles. If they want to become legalized citizens they should be shipped back cross the border to file the proper paperwork, enter the US legally. That is the only way that the law can be fulfilled. Anything other than that is simply a ploy to give the illegal aliens what they requested and the first part of this statement is fictitious, used only in an attempt to con and/or pacify the American public.
