Household electronics recycling event this Saturday Cayuga County and the City of Auburn are co-sponsoring a special event for America Recycles Day, this Saturday, November 16th. The event is at the Auburn Landfill on North Division Street on Saturday morning from 8 to 11 AM. They will be accepting all household electronic items, including computers, monitors, and TV’s. All household electronics are being accepted for FREE. They are also accepting fluorescent light bulbs, household batteries (non-alkaline) and propane grill tanks for FREE. They are also accepting small Freon appliances, like air conditioners and de-humidifiers, for FREE. If you have any questions, call the Planning Department at x1276.
