#Houston #NowHiring #HotJob #DentalAssistants Job Title: Dental Assistant Job Site: Houston, TX 77071 JP # 6342879 For more information visit workintexas or call (713) 661-3220 2 Dental Assistant needed 1 Bilingual Dental Assistant (English/Spanish) is needed to communicate with patients Duties: •Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist dentist during dental procedures. • Expose dental diagnostic x-rays. • Record treatment information in patient records. • Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist. • Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies. • Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. • Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs. • Order and monitor dental supplies and equipment inventory. • Clean and polish removable appliances. • Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. Requires HS/GED, 2-3 years DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE and Dental Assistant Certification. **Medical office experience does NOT qualify as Dental Office experience** Candidates must pass drug screen and background check.
