How Archangel Gabriel can help you with writing and publishing All angels are messengers of God, each with an individual specialty. Yet, we most often think of Archangel Gabriel as the messenger among the messengers. After all, Gabriel’s famous announcements to Daniel (the prophet), Zechariah, and the Blessed Mother were world changing. Gabriel’s messages continue to resound through the world. The archangel also delivers important information through people, particularly writers. In Catholicism, Archangel Gabriel is the patron saint of those who work in communication careers, such as journalists and writers, and messengers such as letter carriers. But you don’t need to be Catholic or even religious to receive this angel’s assistance with your messenger work, because Gabriel is a nondenominational angel who helps all Earth Angel messengers. As a reminder, we don’t pray to angels, as we aren’t deifying them or making them into idols. However, we can ask God to send Gabriel’s help or call upon the archangel directly. For example, you can say: “Dear God and Archangel Gabriel, thank you for giving me the courage, focus, and motivation to write. Thank you for helping me hear true Divine messages that I can express through the written word.” Since 1995, when I began interviewing people about their angel experiences, I’ve heard and received hundreds of stories of Archangel Gabriel helping writers to complete their projects and get published. Gabriel gives motivation, courage, and opportunities to those who feel guided to write. I believe that the desire to write is a signal that it’s part of your life purpose. Those who continually think, I should write, are getting Divine guidance to express heavenly messages through a book, article, blog, or other medium. In some cases, Gabriel will suggest journaling or keeping a diary as a way of opening the creative pipelines. Whatever form the writing takes, the process of putting pen to paper or finger to keyboard is soul-stirring. Archangel Gabriel functions as a modern-day literary agent for human messengers, who motivates writers to complete their books and articles and make their deadlines. I’ve heard stories of Gabriel urging writers to stay awake late at night in order to finish their manuscripts. For this reason, I’ve often referred to Gabriel respectfully as a “nudging angel.” I’ve even “warned” would-be writers that if they call upon Gabriel for help, they won’t be getting much sleep until their manuscript is complete! The archangels can help you create a fulfilling career around your life purpose. Archangel Michael knows the contents of the Book of Life (also known as Akashic Records or your Soul’s Contract).
