How I long for my Indiana home... Right, lesson learned today: Do not be a displaced Hoosier, get up and start tidying your house to the pre-race show of the Indianapolis 500. Youll find your ass on the couch with your coffee in hand, your cats staring at you like youve lost your mind because youre bawling your freaking eyes out. I knew I shouldnt have watched that Tomb of the Unknown Soldier thing. I knew it! And Jim Nabors last hurrah? Forget about it. I had to take a break and take out the trash so I didnt curl up in a fetal ball on my couch or go directly to my boxes of pictures and sift through them, torturing myself. Now, the race has begun, Ive torn myself away and I can just look forward to the pool party Im having this afternoon. Rock on!
