How To Tell Youre Canadian: I left work and needed to cross 2 lanes of traffic to get to my left turn lane. A woman stopped her car to let me in (with a friendly wave and smile, of course) but it was for the right turn lane. Instead of waiting, I didnt want to offend her so turned right and, instead of being home in 7 minutes from work, it took almost 25 minutes with traffic. Instead of stewing about it, I decided to enjoy the +26C weather (it was +1C on the way to work) and crank up the tunes. I was able to appreciate the road crews, who were able to be out working in the nice weather, see the people smiling and driving with their sunroofs open, and watch people stop at intersections and greet each other with warm smiles and chuckle that spring was finally here. It only seemed fitting that this song happened to be playing on my scenic route home. Thanks, Lady in the Toyota, for stopping and reminding me that summer is on the way! :)
