How about this one? I have a fearful dog. She gets anxious around feeding times, comes to check out her food, walks away, comes back again, walks away. A stray dog from the street of Thailand, you would think that she would be a voracious eater. She never has been. Not even treats, cheese, people food, or cat food! Now, after testing and check-ups, we have found her to be healthy other than needing to gain a little weight. My vet has said, feed her whatever she will eat. Believe me when I say, we have always done that with her. I told the vet that she loves eggs, toast, and cheese, so she told me to feed that to her. Im sorry, but I am not going to feed any living being cheese, eggs, and toast every day! The only foods she will eat without refusing to eat for days at a time, are a premade raw diet, mixed with warm water and dry kibble both made by Natures Logic. Do many of you have dogs that are anxious and have eating issues? She also has the worst breath imaginable. I do give her yogurt and probiotics but it has never helped with the smell. She does have nice teeth, so I dont think it is tartar. What else can it be? Any secrets on how to make her feel more at ease during eating tmes?
