How are lone wolf crimes inspired by Islamic extremism, like the two attacks that happened in Ottawa and Quebec last week, different from lone wolf crimes inspired by Christian right-wing extremists different? Why are Christian right-wing inspired mass shootings not called acts of terrorism but simply a crazy lone wolf acting alone crimes; like Anders Behring Breivik, a 32-year-old Norwegian right-wing extremist who killed 77 people, including 69 kids? And why was a Moncton, N.B. Justin Bourque, another lone wolf acting alone, not labelled a terrorist after killing three RCMP officers and wounding two others? He admitted in court: Im not out to kill civilians. Im only after government officials. I think this anti-terrorist legislation being brought in will be applied in biased ways, focusing more on individuals inspired by Islamic extremist views than individuals inspired by Christian right-wing extremist views.
