How big is possible? Continued from yesterday. Pg 3 How big is possible well with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. So everything with God is achievable and has the potential of having the results of whatever we are asking or in faith can be manifested in the natural. God is a Spirit not a man. Not made with images made by man but a Spirit. You cannot see the Spirit, but you can see the results of the Spirit just like the wind you cannot see the wind, but you can see the results of the wind. Mark 9:14- 29 read 14 And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. 15 Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him. 16 And He asked the scribes, What are you discussing with them? 17 Then one of the crowds answered and said, Teacher, I brought you my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to your disciples that they should cast it out, but they could not. 19 He answered him and said, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me. 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21 So He asked his father, How long has this been happening to him? And he said, From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us. 23 Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief! 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more! 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, He is dead. 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. 28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, Why could we not cast it out? 29 So He said to them, This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting. A scribe was a copier of Jewish religious documents, and these scribes were opposing or struggling with His disciples and the crowd over this situation of a man’s son who was mute and the demonic spirit that was in him was causing him great harm. And pain. There is always an opposing force at work when believers are trying to operate in the Spirit and faith. Always trying to sow seeds of doubt and confusion in the minds of the people that are affected by the situation... His disciples could not cast that spirit out of his son because they were overwhelmed by what was opposing them, unbelief , and the fact that His disciple were trying to operate in the natural. The natural man cannot understand the things of God. We have to walk and operate in the Spirit, not in the natural or carnal state. Because the carnal mind is enemy against God and therefore cannot understand the things of God and will always operate in doubt and fear. The Spirit of God was upon Jesus and anointed Him. Luke 4:18 you can do nothing without faith. Mark 11:22 Jesus said to them have faith in God. Nothing else, God is the source of all things possible. Jesus told the crowd and His disciples in verse 19 He answered them, O unbelieving without faith! How long shall I have to do with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me. Jesus was actually saying how long am I going to have to support or carry you before you can believe? Without faith it is impossible to believe the impossible for the things that are possible in God. Without faith it is impossible to please God. That is why so many in the church and in this world are convinced that it is to unbelievable or to impractical to have faith in God. Let’s do it our way, our ways are better. This son’s father cried out to Jesus for the possible in God, and said if you will have compassion on us and help us. Then Jesus said to him if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Jesus saw the tears of this man as he cried out and said Lord, I believe, help my unbelief. Then Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and said Deaf and dumb spirit I command you, come out of him and enter no more. He didn’t need permission from any religious organization to do this or perform some religious ceremony. He commanded it to come out and it did. This man, His disciple, and the crowd around them saw what was possible with God. Lord help our unbelief so that we can receive the things that are possible with you. We always need to fast and pray, always to hear from God.
