How can God love me? Why would God save me? Why do I deserve heaven? These are all questions we at some point have asked ourselves. Also questions that we run into while sharing the gospel. Question 1 How can God love me? God knows we are failures. The bible says he loves us so much that he would sacrifice his own son. The bible says his love endures for ever. God knew when you were born that you would sin. So God loves you regardless of what you have done. Why would God save me? I think some times we often forget that salvation is not a prayer. Salvation is a real relationship with a living God that says I know Im a failure yet you love me anyway. You saved me when you didnt have too. Let us not forget that God offers us a way out when he doesnt have too. God shows us mercy. We dont get what we deserve. We deserve hell. #3 Why do I deserve heaven? This is something people sometimes dont understand. YOU DONT. You do not deserve heaven. That I think is one of the biggest misunderstandings in salvation. You dont deserve heaven you deserve hell. But ten you have grace. We get what we dont deserve. We get heaven. God said Im gonna give you away out. And offers us salvation. As I read about John the Baptist I often wish I had his heart. He said I am one voice crying out in the wilderness. God give me opportunitys to share your unfailing love with others. Give me an oppurtunity to share what you have done in my life. Let me seek you in the low points of my life and let me seek you when Im on top.
