How can we be enslaved in our own dear country?First i want to start by defining who slaves are.....Slaves are people who are being deprived of their rights and doesnt have a say.For instance.....We are paying our electricity bills while we are not even seeing the light,everyday in darkness, isnt that slavery? . Water boards are getting allocation every year,but yet our public pumps are all dried up due to lack of water.You can only use water when you buy or maybe you are rich enough to dig a borehole in your house.If you ask me,i believe that water is a gift of nature by the creator to mankind.But why are mankind making it difficult to his fellow mankind, isnt that slavery?our citizenship funds are being used to pay for security and yet our brother and sisters are dieing everyday due to insecurity.But if we may ask why is it that is only the poor and the needy that are always involved in the killing and the bombing, of all the lives we have lost till now we are yet to hear any lost from any of the prominent Arewa leaders and politicians. Isnt that Slavery?Now even with our hard earn money we get the so high price fuel to buy, which is our own natural resources in our land. Lastly in Lagos Nigeria,accommodation has become a do or die affair,which normally is suppose to be our rights for our government to make such provision for the citizens.Anyway since they didnt, because we are being enslaved,we as hard working lagosians decided to make the provisions by ourselves, and yet the so called housing agents which are approved by government,simply because of what the government are benefiting from the association, are now making it difficult to an extend that an average Lagos state worker cant even afford an apartment because you must have an additional 50% aside of the 100% which goes to the land lord just for rent.Naija people are we not slaves? we all should stop pretending that all is well when we know that things are going wrong everyday by day.
