How can we be sure our vote MATTERS? On Tuesday, THIS Tuesday, November 4rth? 1. MILLIONS of dollars are being spent on propaganda designed to make you feel your one vote doesnt matter. Hmmmm. 2. If the votes of our brothers and sisters of color, any damn color, are not crucial for moving us forward they (the Republicans) would not be spending millions more on suppressing those voters. Hmmmmm Think of it this way. Every time you throw up your hands and say Why should I vote, it makes no difference youre being used as a tool to spread the very expensive propaganda of the other side. Ah, they think, those millions of dollars paying off. If we can get legislation through Congress and end the appointments dead-lock 2015 and 2016 could be two of our finest years. It is crucial we vote in THIS election. We are running out of time. The Government is not the enemy, WE ARE the government. We can use the government to make the country more responsive to the challenges we face. The corporations who think they run the government ( they think correctly in many cases because we keep falling for their propaganda and stepping out of the process) ARE the enemy. They are scared of us voting. Stick em in the eye. VOTE. Use the big stick youve been given to defend yourself and our country. Voting is just the beginning. WE are the biggest lobby Washingtons halls of power have to face. Once weve voted we must make it very clear what we want. We want an unfrozen government thatll give us some common-sense actions. Jobs, in industries that arent killing us. New Americans to add to our tax base. Healthcare, preventative and proactive that allows us all to be equal on that front. Well ask for safety in our work and homes. Well ask to be allowed to go to school without breaking the bank and jobs that put our destiny, our air, our water back in our own hands. Dignity, from jobs well-done and done for the betterment of all. After this election is over and weve got elected people ready to listen we use that hand-in-hand other great power we have, to lobby OUR elected officials for OUR America.
