How can you possibly believe that you can live in the house of God if you dont obey his laws? You cannot disregard his word, and fit what he says to your lifestyle. What God says, goes. Just like your own parents. It is no different then your own parent saying Clean your room, do the dishes, and put the clean ones away.. When you clean your room, would you put things where they go? Or shove everything under your bed? (which parents dont like just saying.) Would you rinse, scrub, and repeat the dishes? Or would you put all your dirty, used dishes in the cupboard? You would clean them right? Because eventually, your parents would see your room not clean, and the dirty dishes not clean.. And eventually youll find that you would have todo it the right way anyway, and normally there are consequences to every action, and youd find yourself having todo more than before. It works with sin the same exact way. Your sin will find you out. Be obedient the first time, and you wont have todo or go through it the second time, and you wont have to pay consequences due to your actions. With diligence comes blessing.
