How come every time a PO kills an unarmed civilian, its ALWAYS reported that the police officer(s) involved in the shooting or beating suffered injuries? Like this last case I just watched a news report on. LAPD beat a man for 10 mins as he bled on the pavement and onlookers video taped the incident showing that even after they had him face down on the ground in handcuffs they continued beating him and he died 12 hours later from the injuries he sustained. Guess what the PD reported? That the 2 officers involved also suffered injuries. An injured knee...and a fractured/broken hand...ummmmmm Can someone PLEASE explain why it always seems like they report the PO injuries as if thats supposed to equal out to the death they just caused? Or like its supposed to justify their actions. Idk about you, but Ill take an injured knee or a broken hand over a casket...
