How crazy is this? Boycott Dutch artist Bart Jansen for turning cat into remote-controlled helicopter! (En onderin nog meer idioten) HOax or real? The Orvillecopter is a mixture of cat, helicopter and a piece of art. At least that’s what its creator, Dutch artist Bart Jansen, believes. After his beloved cat, dubbed Orville, was run over by a car, Jansen came up with the idea to transform it into a helicopter. After a brief period of mourning, the cat was stuffed and received propellers, transforming itself into the “Orvillecopter”. The stunning piece of art has been showcased at countless exhibits, including the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam. As you can see from the video above, the Orvillecopter has trouble with keeping its altitude, but Jansen has promised to fix this issue. The cat is also due to receive more powerful engines and propellers very soon. The Dutch artist claims this art project is a tribute to his cat. We, the undersigned, consider that this is exactly the opposite. It is a blatant disrespect to the life of that poor cat and is far from an art project. In fact, Mr. Jansen should not be allowed near any pets from now on!
