How dare she say she has had it hard! What an ungrateful being. I couldnt read all of this because it was making me sick. I might not know how it feels to have a Down Syndrome baby,but I DO KNOW what it is like to have a handicap sibling. What this woman is saying is all selfish and immature. She has no idea what that poor boy really feels inside, and to have her proclaim that she wishes she could have aborted him?! I dont know why God put special people like this boy, or even my sister on this earth, but God made it so. I can publicly proclaim that I am proud my mom didnt end my sisters life when she found out that she had something wrong. My life wouldnt be the same if I didnt have sweet Sara. She might not think like me, but she has such a sweet and loving soul. Sometimes, she understands a situation way better than I can see it. My heart aches for this sweet boy and others whose parents are selfish and say they wish they had MURDERED them. It is not a humane ending of life, you are killing them. In the Bible it says to not kill. Like the Bible, we have rules dealing with murder in our worldly standards. I pray that God will change her heart and rather than seeing her son as a problem, seeing him as a joy to have. Lord, be with us. Rant over.
