How do I begin this post? Well, Ill just say that when my beloved husband passed away over 2 years ago that there was a sea of love that opened up in my house.... My flesh and blood family was there of course, but there was also a huge presence of this special family that we also consider family who go by the name Winters.... I thought about the word Winter and it is a time of reflection-everything dies off or goes within itself to grow and be renewed once spring is here again.... Well, Mrs. Inez was in her Winter season... You know she had to shake off the old stuff... You know that oxygen tank, those chemo treatments, those pain meds and visits to the hospital? Well, she shook those off cause she is now in her Eternal Spring because her spirit has been renewed in The Lord Jesus Christ! I wish I could ease the pain that her family is feeling . Im just so happy that I was touched by her. She shared a birthday with my dad and called my husband her son..... She was the epitome of strength , a soldier , a warrior who had the ability to laugh and make others laugh even when she was in pain ....I wont say goodbye , but Ill say see you later Mrs. Inez.... Your family will carry on your tradition of showing love through your cooking and baking... Family functions, etc.... God knows you put your foot in those cakes! Now your foot has stepped into Glory and you shall be forever loved and missed.
