How do you say goodbye to someone who has had a huge impact on your life? How is it fair that someone who was barely in their 30s had to suffer for a few years before they lost their fight to an enemy as fierce and relentless as brain cancer? It is so not right that my cousin, Kandis will never be there to watch her son grow up, graduate even from elementary school, or have kids of his own! Its not fair to her parents, as it never is for any parent to lose a child, no matter what age! I babysat her since she was born, I got to see her grow up to become a beautiful young woman, then suffer through this horrible disease! But even though she lost her battle, she was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be greatly missed! I love you, Kandis, and will always hold you close to my heart! My thoughts are with her family, we have all suffered a tremendous loss with her passing! Lori, Andy, Kari, Kristy, and kids, I am truly sorry for this loss, which was way too soon, I love you all! So for parents out there, love and cherish your children, no matter what wrongs they commit, as you never know when a foe such as cancer will whisk them away!
