How does one proceed to advise the 15-year old homeschooled student who still has 11th and 12th grades to complete (at home) but is proud to be receiving his dual-enrollment Associates Degree in Liberal Arts (with mainly Cs), and comes to me asking whether a Biology degree will help him get a job with Special Forces in the military, because he aspires to be someone like MacGyver, and oh, by the way, theoretical physics would be cool, too...???
