How does your future look like? This is a practical example, but guess what? It requires hard work and prayer for such a vision like this to be actualized. I pray God grant us the grace and help us actualize our visions alongside, help us fulfill purpose in Jesus name! I love this! THE FUTURE I SEE FOR MYSELF Paul J. Meyer said, “whatever you can vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass!” This quote has immensely affected my perception about my desired future that seems jeopardized with the larger-than-earth obstacles and so-called insurmountable hurdles I have faced but the can do and unyielding attitude in me, what I have envisioned, how I have grabbed discipline by the neck, the commitment, hard work and other elements of success I am putting into place gives me the assurance that my future will be great! Napoleon Hill, the great American author said, “what the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” With that insight, I see myself influencing the dietary lifestyle of people in the aspect of my career by proffering solution to their dietary inadequacies, devising ways to make people see why they should make food to be their medicine through researches, education and counselling. I see myself blazing new trails and giving birth to new frontiers in my field by integrating my creativity with the knowledge I have acquired to produce life-transforming resources that will make my field more blossoming! In addition, I have never for once stopped developing my talents and gifts I am endowed with and that shows how bright my future will be. I see myself inspiring and positively affecting lives with my poetry skills, my talent for playing the harmonica in a melodious and soothing manner. I see myself using my oratory power to strikingly influence and persuade people to make good choices in life as I set example by calling a spade a spade, uphold my integrity and resist evil at all cost! Coupled with the above mentioned, I see myself as an author whose book which will cut across different human endeavours and contribute to the literary world will hit the New York Times best-selling list, getting satisfaction from signing autographs to my readers at book signings. Moreover, I see myself as an agent of change the world needs especially my country by revamping and reforming her governance blessed with corruption, deception, quackery and nonchalance by engaging in politics at this earlier stage with an upright mindset, learning the basics and the technicalities, learning how to trust my audacity and instincts and be vigilant that I may leap across any crocodile-infested river just like Barack Obama during his own time, even when the greedy reptiles are drooling while opening their mouth ajar in readiness to pulverize me should I slip over till I find my way to the ‘White House’. Furthermore, I see myself as an employer of labour by establishing a big company that will produce human basic and major needs which is food. I see myself being in control of large hectares of farmland producing agricultural inputs that will be further processed into consumable items. I see myself using that avenue to ensure that people’s welfare is being catered for. I will engage myself in philanthropic activities by assisting the less-privileged and those that can make our world a better place through the provision of grants, scholarships, and financial empowerment to make my life be an expression of the biblical adage which says, “a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.” In conclusion, I will let the quote I formulated sometimes past that, “be a solution contributor, not a problem distributor” be the basis of my existence as I strive to leave an indelible mark on the surface of the earth till I pass on!
