How good is the A6000 for shooting flying eagles? Got a loan unit and paired it with the Sony 70-400 f4-f5.6 G1 lens. It takes a couple of seconds to focus and lock on to the subject. But once the focus locks on, it is able to track the eagle. Trying to keep my balance on the rocking boat and prevent from motion blur adds to the challenge. My verdict is it is a tad slow to focus and needs patience to keep trying. But once you get the focus locked the results are pretty decent as the sample photos below shows.
