How has your background and education prepared you for the office you seek? I am a retired Engineer, Businessman, and Educator. I bring a fresh, unbiased, new perspective to solving the problems facing us today. I think like an Engineer and manage by consensus. I make decisions based upon data not emotion and am more interested in solutions than I am in who gets the credit. I was the Vice President for Community Development and Public Affairs for the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. In that position I led the MetroVisions effort which was a volunteer driven community needs assessment and visioning process which identified Red Flags and Gold Stars. That effort resulted in Fayetteville being awarded the All America City Status.
