How is everyone?! I just want to start by saying thank you to Sister and President Ennis for sending me that DearElder!!! It was really nice!!!!!! Every time we get mail our entire district (since were in two apartments adjacent to each other) gets to see. So thank you :) I ran into some more people from BYUH: Kayla Nielsen (Nielson?) The Asian Guy turned out to be Andrew Alonzo and he gave opening prayer for L. Tom Perrys devotional this week!!! So we teach pretend investigators, right? Our current ones are a 24-year-old semi-evangelical Chilean who doesnt know what to do with his life even though he is working and at school, but is really complacent and hard to teach because of a short attention span. Our other one is a 24-year-old atheist divorcee whose sister died so shes really depressed. Our goal is to invite them to come unto Jesus Christ. Turns out its really, really, REALLY HARD. But its also really great to be doing this work. So Im glad they started us out with people who are hard to talk to (especially in Spanish.) A big doctrine that we got to hear Sunday night was the power of joy. It was pretty great, in my opinion, because sometimes we get so caught up (us missionaries, anyway) with studying 5-8 hours a day, being serious and reverent, and being in a new environment that we forget to laugh. Im pretty sure every sister in my district has spent a few hours crying in the bathroom. So I guess it would be good to tell you all that were doing great, and Im doing awesome. Im learning so much, as always. Its like Im back at college. :) Except Im serving a mission so its way better. Maybe. Idk. BYUH is pretty great. Im really glad to hear how everyone is doing, and about all of your adventures. Thanks for writing me! I dont have tons to say because I dont want to bore you all. :) Con amor, Hermana Lusk
