How lucky we are in Henry County, Indiana to have the great novel and movie Raintree County document the history of our great county in the Civil War era. From the 4th of July footrace in the courthouse square to the Civil War and the assassination of Lincoln and more. This is the story of our citizens and the places we know and call home. The entire world recognizes this great account of our place in history, so we should take on the responsible task of making sure it is not forgotten here in Henry County, Indiana.
