How many moms feel me? Yesterday I relished two hours alone on my excursion to the HUtto library and then wal-mart. Yes, wal-mart. Alone. It was only the second time Ive been alone for two hours in the last six weeks, not counting two times Ive driven into Austin and sat in traffic alone. Going back past 6 weeks, I dont think Ive been alone in my house more than an hour since....I dont know the last time that happened. And i shall include a word of caution. Dont tell me to enjoy them because they grow up so fast. I know this. The moment my third child was born, I was fully aware she was aging. I never ever tell moms this and I have vowed never to tell moms this when my kids are grown. Any human being that spends all their waking moments with the same people would go crazy. Imagine that annoying coworker being with you 24/7. In your cubicle. It doesnt mean i lack gratitude. Im in awe of the children God has entrusted to us. Complaining aside, i love the little hellions I live with.
