How many of us have an advance health care directive about what to do when we are not capable of making a medical decision? Have we assigned someone to have health care powers of attorney? Have we written down under what circumstances we want to be revived, or not? These are difficult questions to answer - and difficult to think about. But they are important precautions. If we dont deal with them, decisions will be made for us, by relatives or by doctors, that may not be the ones that we want. How do you feel about doing this? Have you got any specific treatment wishes?
