How many of you believe you are true Christians and yet do not Obey the word of God and justify you selves By some means . How many when asked to Give will say Oh I can’t afford to give anything or I am already giving to someone else or to some church And yet you can go and buy yourself a candy bar or a pop or a new shirt of pants or just any small thing you want . What you can’t give A penny a Dollar . Five Dollars , Ten Dollars , Twenty Dollars , to some one that asks of you or is in need and yet it is you justify yourselves by such means as saying they may us the money to buy something they shouldn’t or you may say they did this to themselves or , what every Justification that works for you and yet the word of God say this . MARK CHAPTER 12 41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living. MATTHEW CHAPTER 5 41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. 43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. So Do you Obey God or do you justify yourselves . It is not how much you Give it is that you Give to them that asks and are in need . JOHN CHAPTER 14 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. MATTHEW CHAPTER 5 Is one of his commands PROVERBS CHAPTER 19 16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. 17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. DEUTERONOMY CHAPTER 15 11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. I JOHN CHAPTER 3 14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoso hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
