How many times I have said to myself,boy I wish I could go back and redo a few things,revisit a few bad decisions I have made. I wonder how different things would be today if I had just not done this or said that. As understandable as these feelings are in our lives,they fly in the face of gods sovereign guidance and overesight of our lives. God may not cause everything,but He certainly causes everything to work together for our Good. He is so big and His love for us is so great that he can take all the loose ends and shattered pieces of our lives and in some miraculous way he weaves it all together into something that not only makes sence but even glorifies Him. I remember once looking at the back of a woven tapestry. I could not believe how disorganized and disjointed it looked. Loose ends here and tattered remnants there, but when I turned it over I was amazed to se such a beautifull and semetrical piece of art. In the end this how it will be. He truly will make all things work together for our good and for his glory. Do we really believe that our ability is greater than His? Do we really think that we can change Gods plans for us by making mistakes,no matter how devastating they may seem. He gets the last word and the last word will be " Behold I make all things new, for the former things have passed away" I believe that this is the key to living our lives without regrets. He would say to us " Do you really think I did not know what you were going to choose and how you were going to behave" If we truly believe that our steps are ordered by the Lord than why do we look back with regret. Behold I do a new thing says your God! Do you not see it for even now it springs forth. This is the word of the LOrd
