How many times throughout history have people done something new & seemingly impossible to some, to find out as time goes on it changed things for the better? Some years ago some chose to persecute people for their beliefs, filled with hate & ignorance, until some said why not let them be true to themselves, who are we to judge, to disagree is not grounds for persecution, let all be free to believe what they feel in their heart. Ignoring hate & focusing on the good in life . Some used, abused & robbed people of their freedom based on race. Filled with hate, rage & fear until people began to denounce the torture of innocent people. How strange it seemed then to so many, until people began to ignore the hate & focus on the good in life. How terrible it seemed for women to be equal to men. As those who hate & oppress sought to abuse our mothers, daughters , sisters, grandmothers. & others focusing on hate & rage. Until a few stood up and focused on the good in life, ignoring the hate. How evil it seemed, choosing to share your heart with anyone outside the traditional family. Attacking people solely for who they choose to love based on fear & ignorance. Until some stood against hate and focused on the good in life. Where are we now ? What have we learned? Hate & ignorance coupled with forcing your opinions. & beliefs on others never works and is never the way the majority feels. So I ask you this America, take a good look at how the majority views animal rescue & those fueling the fire. Now do you see why so many families decide to skip adoption & purchase an animal. Its not the animals, we have proved every rescue animal if given the right resources and dedicated exposure to the public, coupled with a positive experience & ignoring hate gets results. Forcing people to adopt, persecuting those who surrender or dont follow your ways to operate rescues is the reason so many die. Its not the mills, its not the pit bulls, its not craigslist, pet stores , breeders etc its the fact the public chooses to go the non confrontational, realistically obtainable, child friendly route over being told they are going to hell for loosing their home, getting sick, getting old or any list of problems we all might face.we know some are horrible but ask yourself would you really live in a box with your kids to keep your dog? You want to stop mills, fight animal abuse and euthanizing our best friends then you need to make this system work and by that I mean instead of spending your time making yourself feel good tearing others apart why not close your laptop, put your shoes on, get in the car and walk a rescue dog, comfort those in pain, help them look their best to the public dont just scream adopt this poor pitty who needs a home while no one wants the poor dog because no one handles the animal as he sits in a cage, soon to die because you ultimately kept him there. Your not rescuing anything unless you create an atmosphere that allows the adoptions to be possible. So the next time you look at our facebook page take a good hard look. We dont say Joey was surrendered as his p.o.s owner left him to die that scumbag or if you dont adopt your an a hole. We dont leave you waiting for a phone call back a week later, we dont make you wait a week to see the animals,we dont email you a denial or make it so time consuming you just give up. Make no mistake we are thorough with our screening, we deny if need be & provide altering & veterinary care while doing whats best for the animals specific needs. We are happy to help you adopt, we are showing the animals, even the horribly abused, finding loving forever homes in a timely manner. We ignore the hate, focus on the good and did something new. I am blessed to see people fall in love day after day, with rescue animals finding their forever homes. With a full time staff dedicated to everything. This is the last time I will explain this, if you cant figure out our adoption fees and what we really do then Im wasting valuable lifesaving time with you. To make it simple if no one has done things this way before then no one can possibly know what we must do to structure our operation in order to employ the staff, pay expenses & care for the animals and quite honestly if you cant see the extraordinary results we get then I dont think your issue is the animals here at all. This is what I believe, I wont force it on you, I welcome you to join saving lives with us. Or wish you luck in your methods. But I will ignore hate and focus on the animals & their needs first, defining our mission. We are not a pet store, we are not a rescue , we are not a shelter, we are We Love Rescue Pets and in a new category all on our own. Its time to walk over, look in the mirror and see the person you are and ask yourself are you full of hate or are you ready to save lives. The choice is yours I made mine.
