Fire-Rescue personnel understand the need to respond in the shortest period of time with adequate staff that are both knowledgeable and experienced. Cross-trained/multi-role firefighters, under the command of a company officer, are educated to aggressively attack their work, whether it involves fire suppression or medical emergencies.
