How often do you remember to say thank you to our God? Probably this poem will lend you a hand: THANK YOU LORD For the good things we keep enjoying Though we may never have acknowledged, That came in both small and big bundles, We thank you Lord. We thank you for the storms we have braved, For the rivers we have crossed, For the tides and quakes that have gone by, And the many battles we have triumphed, For you Lord did it for us. You set us on the path of success, And planted in us an indefatigable spirit, Setting us on the wings of the wind. We run without tiring or breaking a sweat, You put your spirit in us, That’s why we thank you Lord. When we walk a tight rope You make it a wide road When we walk through the valley of darkness You shine your light ahead of us. And when we thirst and crave for you You fill us with your peace and love so ethereal You proclaim your glory in the waterfalls And in the midst of the thunder, And in the lightening of the storm You give your song for the birds to sing to you The clear blue skies above The gentle breeze Whispering through the trees below The smiling stars and the silky clouds The silent stream as it meanders around Writing of your wonders on the surface of the earth. You envelop us with the warmth of the sun. And perfume the air with natures fragrance You clothe us with victory over the enemy And plant in our lips a new song of victory We join the heavenly hosts saying THANK YOU LORD!
