How sad. And Im not sharing this because a cop was involved in this situation, Im sharing this because it proves that racial profiling IS real. It blows my mind that there are people who say that racism is dead and discrimination doesnt happen. We see it everyday yet we choose to ignore it instead of solving the problem. WHY?! Nobody gains anything from profiling or stereotyping another human so why do we continue to do it? I understand why we have preconceived ideas of how a certain group of people should act/look/speak but we also need to keep in mind that those ideas do not apply to all of the group. I could go on and on and on about this subject because it is something I feel strongly about but Ill stop here. For now.
