How strange is the system of checks and balances which has prevented any animal, no matter how ferocious, how large, or subtle, from dominating the earth since the age of trilobites (Google that word) and probably not even then. Man has upset this balance of nature by moving plants and animals from place to place, and he has immediately paid a severe penalty in the development of animal, plant and insect pests. Fish and insects survive by meeting the law of chance with thousands of eggs, some of which escape the death that lurks everywhere for the undefended. These strange facts are worth mentioning. They are not necessarily conclusive evidence of the existence of an intelligent designer. ...But man can not live life seeing these amazing checks and balances without realizing that they are both precarious and impossible to replicate. The cactus, for example was introduces to Australia and was literally about to take over the entire continent because there were zero predators that held them in check. It took years of thinking and planning to find one insect that fed only on cactus. They released them in Australia and now the cactus plants are no longer literally crowding humans out of towns, etc. Nature does that naturally! ...Or... Is it by design?
