How time flies..... and fast, if you close your eyes even for while, you will be surprised when you open it , and find out with joy and sadness that the little girls and boys that you have been hugging all these years are all grown-up now...Today I am a little bit sentimental and nostalgic. I dont know if it is because I am getting older or just feeling the void and emptiness of seeing empty rooms that had been occupied by some of my older kids, and realizing that my youngest child will be in college soon. When the elder siblings ( 7 kids because the youngest is still in high school ) enrolled in college I accompanied them all during enrollment, especially the eldest , because he was the first to be in college, and proud parents that we were, we are overjoyed that he was admitted at the University of the Philippines and we supported him all the way. The next children were all supported and taken cared of just like the first when they enrolled at the Bicol University and not one of them have been neglected or overlooked . The enthusiasm that we had for the eldest were the same as the feelings and joy that we have for all them. And during that important moment in their lives we were always there , to share their joy and their accomplishments and to erase whatever fear they might undergo in the next phase of their lives. And now my youngest will be in college soon, I have mixed emotions, I am happy because she had gone a long way in her studies and at last she have to fulfill whatever dreams she had planned for her life and a little bit lonely because she will be away from home and so with the others.. But that is how its got to be , the same feelings that our parents had before, when we left home...And the cycle goes on...
