How to Build Skill in Managing Stress Bali Goddess Way Continuing - TopicsExpress

How to Build Skill in Managing Stress Bali Goddess Way Continuing from the previous post, doing a little meditation every day can help you build skills to manage your stress. By little means you can do it for 5 – 10 minutes each time. Start with one meditation each day, and increase to a few times a day as needed. To start, get a meditation song you love and relaxing to your soul. You can also burn an incense or essential oil that helps you unwind, such as lavender and patchouli. Then find a quiet, clean, comfortable place in your home devoted to your meditation practice. It can be a room or just a corner of a room, but this will be your spot associated with getting still and a time where you will be uninterrupted. Lie down on the floor on your yoga mat. Place one hand on your heart and the other on your belly. Release all of your minds, physical sensations, and emotions. This way you can dive deeper and deeper into your soul and reach a sense of calm. This is the state that you want to be in when you are faced with difficult situations that trigger stress. The more you practise the easier and quicker you get to this state, the more skilful you are in managing your stress. You’ll be able to gain new perspective and reduce negative emotions. We hope it helps you goddesses to manage your stress. In the next posts we’ll talk about what other aspects we can focus on in quick meditations.
