How to Make People Fall in Love With You by Suleiman Isyaku Muhammed Learn to make people laugh. People love being around people who make them laugh. • Make someone laugh by telling a joke. Jokes make us laugh for several reasons. They give us psychological support, which makes us happy, or offer a bonding experience. • Do a funny impression of someone. Doing an impression is when you act like somebody, either a person you know well or someone famous and recognizable. • Make someone laugh by playing a practical joke. Practical jokes, or pranks, are when you play a trick on someone to cause laughter. They are best done on close friends, as they may incite retaliation. Be an optimist. Always try to find good in all things and people. • Look at the cup as half full, not half empty. Positive things happen to positive people. When a positive person is suffering hardship, they still manage to find something good in every situation. See every failure as a new opportunity to improve, and remember, what doesnt kill you will only make you stronger. • Recognize the good in others. It is very negative behavior to point out the flaws of others, and no one will respect you for it. Be positive and find the good in everyone. Be nice. This is probably the most important aspect of all. Being nice makes people feel good and paves the way to good relationships. • Learn how to share. Sharing can mean dividing your dessert in half to give some to your younger sibling, or it can mean giving up something bigger, like your time, space or words of wisdom. Being generous is part of what it means to be nice. Try not to take more than you give, and when you are able, give more than you take. • Be sincere. Dont be nice as a means to an end. If you just want to be nice so that you can gain preferential treatment, its quite the opposite of being nice-its deceptive, shallow and cruel. Be nice because you want to look back on your life and know that you were a nice person, no matter what. Be nice because you feel like you willingly want to. Give gifts to show you care. These should not be expensive or showy gifts, just little tokens of appreciation. For example, it might be a pot of homemade jam or a slab of homemade beef jerky. It might be a box of chocolates or a poem youve written celebrating that person. Perhaps a voucher to the persons favorite restaurant. And the best gift of all, your time... and a hug! Stand up for friends who get into trouble. Be by their side and be supportive. True friendship is about acceptance of the person for who they are and sticking by their side regardless. Display loyalty. This refers to your ability to protect others, to be on same side, both in their presence and, most importantly, in their absence. Trust is solid when a person knows he or she has your loyalty
