How to control people under the spell of Nationalism ?? 1-Create a flag 2-Compose a national anthem 3-Teach people an exaggerated form of their countrys history 4-Bombard the media with sports news of national teams 5-Fill the calendar with national holidays 6-Create a rivalry with neighboring nations 7-Emphasize that national ties are stronger than religious ties 8-Jail anyone who questions any of this We used to be one Islamic nation under the Khalifah for 13 centuries, until the British Empire divided us into nations based on our race, then created a war between Arab Nations and Ottoman Turks, until we ended up like limbs detached from one body! May Allah UNITE us back...! Ameen.
