They need to know who you are, where you live and how you’re paying. Those who choose to be Retail Customers pay full price for everything and the full cost of shipping. The absolute best way to buy the products is to sign up as a Wholesale Customer. You can order as much as you like, anytime. It’s like ordering off of Amazon. When you choose to be a Wholesale Customer, you can just “distribute” to yourself. You are NOT AGREEING TO SELL or distribute anything. I promise! You get 24% off all essential oils and products containing essential oils. You are charged a little less for shipping. And you’ll have access to sale prices and promotions. It’s really the smartest, most economical choice. Being a Wholesale Customer includes the option of starting a home business with Young Living. The company founder, D. Gary Young, wanted to give people a way of getting the oils for free. By sharing the oils, and referring friends to the company, you can be paid commission for your word-of-mouth advertising. This is optional; there is no requirement or expectation. To get paid commission, you must be placing an Essential Rewards order each month of at least 100 PV. (1 PV = approx. 1 US Dollar) What is Essential Rewards? Just like some stores let you collect points, Young Living also has a points system that rewards you with free products. It’s called Essential Rewards. It is optional. There are some guidelines: You agree to purchase 50PV or more each month. That’s easy to do if you start using Young Living’s line of nutritional supplements, dental care, skin care, cleaning solution, soaps and shampoos. You’ll know you’re getting organic products containing essential oils. Simply re-direct your drug store budget and get higher quality products from Young Living. Your rewards are as follows: Months 1 to 6, 10% of the PV you spend goes into your Essential Rewards account. Months 7 – 12, 15% of the PV you spend goes into your ER account. Months 13 and on, 20% of the PV you spend goes into your ER account. The points can be ‘cashed out’ for free products! To make it clear: As a Wholesale Member you get a 24% discount. And after a year of being on Essential Rewards means you get 20% of what you spend put into your account! Plus commission, if you’re doing the business. Young Living is very generous to its distributors! Frequently Asked Questions Is there a monthly order minimum? No monthly minimum. There is a yearly minimum of 50PV to maintain your distributorship (which means continuing to get the wholesale pricing). That’s it! Otherwise, if you don’t order at least 50PV per year, your account will simply go dormant. I don’t want to sell anything. Do I have to sell Young Living products to be a Distributor? NO! Since there is no monthly order requirement you can simply just order whatever you and your family need whenever you need it. There is no requirement to have a business. You can be a Distributor the rest of your life if you like and only distribute to yourself. You never have to sell a thing. Okay, but is anyone going to bother me all the time? No. The person who might bother you would be me, but I’m too busy to bother anyone, and it’s not my style. You’ll get one or two emails each month from the company. One email will tell you about next month’s special offer (there’s always a freebie with the purchase of the special offer). The other email might tell you about the next convention or info night – and I highly recommend attending all Young Living events. They are so much fun and very informative. You meet really great people, too. So why do I have to become a member? Can’t I just buy Young Living products without becoming a member of something? Most e-retailers call their customers Members. It’s just friendlier. Because Young Living essential oils are used differently than your average aromatherapy oils, the company wants to make sure that each person has access to someone who can help them learn how to use the oils properly. Also, Young Living is set up to eliminate the middleman. It is a network marketing company (not a pyramid, which is illegal) which allows people to have a home business and an income should they decide to.
