How to plan but nothing or no one could have guessed the site was a municipal tip with only days to go for the planting; hence, the days allocated for sorting out the mature trees and whips were utilised for unexpectedly clearing a tip. Holes dug prior to the planting day to ease the labour of the community volunteers, areas marked out with white spray and A4 handouts with area of planting schemes are all part of the pre planning to ensure that all goes smoothly on the day; and it did! All demonstrates the importance of community and working together as a team. A tip on the 27th November and a wood on the 29th November - how about that!!
