How to replace ALL the case fans in your NZXT H440 Razer Edition: 1. remove all casing possible 2. Remove the 360mm Radiator a. Remove Graphics Card b. Remove rear 140mm fan c. Remove HDD Cages d. Unscrew the CPU Block (but take 20 mins to do it coz the screw holes are loose and you need pliers to undo it) e. Unscrew the 12 Screws from the top of the case and take out the radiator f. Clean the thermal compound from the CPU Block and the CPU (crap stuff) g. put to side. 3. Remove the rear 140mm fan (done above but hard to do without removing all the case wiring first to fit the connector through the tiny hole) 4. Remove the front 3 120mm fans (not too hard but they are a pain to hold in place) 5. Replace the front fans and wire them correctly (not hard) 6. Remove the 3 120mm fans from the radiator 7. Lay the case on its side. 8. place the 3 replacement 120mm fans in position (stuck to the top of the case) 9. Slide in the huge radiator and spend 10 minutes trying to get it in properly because shit is in the way. 10. secure the radiator and fans by holding the radiator and finding the screw holes in the dark with one hand while trying to hole the rad and 3 fans with the other 11. make the case upright 12. try to insert the rear 140mm fan but then realise that the whole radiator has to be moved forward (repeat step 10) 13. try to put in the rear fan but it doesnt quite fit so you have to squeze it in so it actually fits. 14. secure the rear fan 15. reapply thermal compound to the CPU and place the CPU Block on it 16. Hold the CPU Block with one hand whilst with the other try to hold the standoffs in place on the other side of the motherboard while simultaneously tightening the screws in a star-like pattern 17. reinsert the HDD cages and plug them in 18. Put the graphics card in and plug it in wrong 3 times before realising that you used the wrong connector 19. get zapped by 240 volts (at really low current) when trying to plug in the pc (scream in pain) 20. Test it (it works) 21. put the case back together 22. put the computer in its spot 23. plug everything back in 24. turn it on 25. realise you left pliers and the remote for the LEDs in there 26. repeat steps 1 and 21 - 24 27. watch as the idle CPU temp lowers to 15 degrees and the GPU sits comfortably at 30 degrees TahDahhhh And that is how you waste 3 hours of your life. There is seriousl too much work involved in replacing 7 fans --.- GGWP
