[How to treat a bruised finger with blood clot] So I caught my index finger between my car door. What seemed minor turned into a night mare. Throbbing pain throughout the night and I was sleepless. Felt like my finger was gonna explode. My GP thought it was too much for her to handle and so I was referred to Khoo Teck Puat hospital for an X Ray. No bones broken. Standard treatment, use a needle to drill a small hole through the nail n squeeze out the blood clot. After drilling 3 holes n squeezing out the blood clot, I felt instant relieve. This is a simple treatment. If you dont release the clot blood, the pain will kill you for a long time. I am glad I did the treatment quickly. (glad my finger is saved!)
