How to write Social Stories for people on the Autism Spectrum: This full-day course is aimed at people who already have a basic understanding of the autism spectrum. It explains why Social Stories can be effective to the improvements in the social understanding of individuals on the autism spectrum which often leads to an improvement in behaviour. This course provides a step-by-step guide for parents and teachers on how to write and implement Social Stories to enable individuals to understand and relate to their world. Whenever possible we engage guest speakers who are on the autism spectrum on this course to explain their unique personal experiences.
