How was yesterdays service at Southminster? One word can sum it up - WOW! Amy Hayes sang Give Me Jesus in her slow, thoughtful, spiritual opera voice and omg....very goose bumpy. Amy is the Intimate Opera founder. Check her out. She is fabulous and we were very happy to have her yesterday. Rev Rons sermon was Do you Get it? and, as usual, made me think. Jesus threw a lot of parables at the disciples. He even asks them Do you understand this? to which they reply that they did and , I like Ron, really had doubts about that! Ron brought up the mustard seed parable. The mustard plant is a weed that just takes over where ever it falls. I am quite familiar with such! (okay gotta go now - will finish in a minute).
