Howard and I enjoyed the day at his annual Barnett, MO school reunion. We drove thru the small rural town, and he reminisced about his growing up years there. The school is closed, but when he attended, it was a one room school. We met at the local Assembly of God church. We got to be with his 100 yr old , sister, Geraldine, who will be 101 in Dec. She reminded me that she takes no meds and still gets around with a walker. We had a beautiful drive from Jeff City on Hwy C to a beautiful sewing/ quilting/craft store in the Mennonite area and picked up a cutting table for Mary that she had ordered. So it was a nice day and ended with ice cream from Central Dairy in Jeff!! Our standard stop on the way home.
